By spring we're all craving a little sunshine and colorful blossoms! We've developed a "cheat sheet", to help aid in your search for the most beautiful spring flowers. With such a wide variety of pretty blooms, deciding which ones to showcase was a challenge! We managed to narrow the list down to fifteen names you should know, heading into the spring floral season. With different textures, foliage, and vibrant colors, there are plenty of varieties to choose from!
All of these flowers below are considered "in season", meaning the flowers naturally bloom at this time of year. From the end of March to the end of June, is the prime time to purchase these varieties. Although we’d love to have our gardens in full bloom right now, these flowers will not survive outdoors, just yet. However, they make great enhancements to indoor décor, and not to mention, the scent they carry is heavenly! Once the plants are finished blooming indoors, transfer the bulbs outdoors and they will have new blossoms before you know it!
